RESURRECTION EXPERIMENT # ???

We believe there is a chance that the correct layout of candles may allow us to bring the peasants back from the afterlife. Narrator seems to have an odd 6th sense about the afterlife, but won't expand on the details. We are using the spiritual connection of the peasants* (note from Ariadne) ** (note from Narrator) to guide us to the correct candle arrangements.

*note from Ariadne: aka, my HEROES

*note from Narrator: aka, village idiots

RESULTS: Able to contact the peasants, but not able to get them back. FAILED.

RESURRECTION EXPERIMENT # ???

With the candles in place, we still are not able to bring the peasants/heroes* (note from Narrator) back. Further research indicates an Athame* (note from Narrator) ** (note from Ariadne) may be needed to cut the tether that the afterlife has on them. Could be at risk for losing the souls into the nether though.

*note from Narrator: aka, losers

*note from Narrator: what the hell is an athame

**note from Ariadne: a magical knife!

RESULTS: Narrator cut herself with the Athame by accident. Is not speaking to Ariadne until it heals. FAILED.

RESURRECTION EXPERIMENT # ???

Perhaps throwing some herbs and ingredients into a specific cauldron is required. This will be tricky as it requires a stop by the witch store and the hope that the heroes* (note from Narrator) will be able to detect the right one. Additionally, Narrator is insisting on stealing it instead of purchasing it as "are they really worth spending money on?" is her argument** (note from Ariadne). Potential to be kicked out of the Witch Shopping Licensure for this is high.

*note from Narrator: dead peasants

**note from Ariadne: yes they are worth it, they saved my life and brought us together.

RESULTS: Narrator "accidentally" toppled over all of the resting cauldrons to steal the correct one. Ariadne is banned from the Witch Shopping Licensure but is sure the Narrator meant well by it. FAILED.

RESURRECTION EXPERIMENT # ???

After possibly summoning the wrong spirits in Experiment # [REDACTED]: Candles the space needs to be cleansed and re arranged again. Seeking Bells from the faeries may be risky, but the spirits seem to be guiding us there. Narrator is concerned Ariadne is too nice to be dealing with the fae and is insisting Ariadne let her handle this.

RESULTS: Ariadne said thank you to the faeries, and have now bound her in some kind of life long deal. Narrator is very angry. Additionally, the bells are giving her a migraine. FAILED.

RESURRECTION EXPERIMENT # ???

Ariadne has instructed Narrator that they must go forage for herbs. Ariadne is packing survival supplies, such as a picnic blanket and a picnic basket. Narrator is not sure what use she will be for this task, as she is disembodied 50% of the time. Ariadne has insisted this is very important and will absolutely 100% get the peasants back.

RESULTS: This was a trick by Ariadne to take Narrator on a picnic so they could rest. Narrator is not speaking to Ariadne and has abandoned her physical form for the time being as she "does not care to enjoy nature with a treacherous, strawberry scented weirdo." FAILED.

RESURRECTION EXPERIMENT # ???

Ariadne has concluded that while the ingredients may be correct, the direct spell book is not. As she can no longer use the Witch Shopping Licensure* (note from Narrator) ** (note from Ariadne), she will have to attempt to summon the book without recreating the "books falling on all the people of Shelfla" incident* (note from Ariadne). Ariadne has high hopes that this grimoire will be the answer to all their questions.

*note from Narrator: and I'm not sorry about it either.

**note from Ariadne: I know you were only trying to do your very best!!

*note from Ariadne: This wasn't my fault!!!

RESULTS: They were able to summon and use the book. However, it only brought back two of the dead peasants- Art and Andee, considered the original creators and leaders of the peasant group. Narrator is furious that a book brought them back, and, that they are the most useless peasants to even come back. Ariadne has made them cookies. SEMI-FAILED?

RESURRECTION EXPERIMENT # ???

Narrator has recalled that one specific "team" formed during the previous quest, in which a group who "worshipped" teeth seemed to have more confidence than necessary. While disturbing, Narrator has tasked Ariadne to seek out a bag of teeth, directly plucked from a goblin army, in order to attempt to channel this confidence and resurrect the others.

RESULTS: It appears this was simply revenge from Narrator to Ariadne for the picnic incident. Ariadne is trying to validate this, and Narrator paid off the goblin's dental bills in exchange for the prank. Ariadne is no longer making Narrator a birthday cake, which Narrator did not want anyway. FAILED.

RESSURECTION EXPERIMENT # ???

A specific scented incense will be helpful for this task. Ariadne will not expand on what the need is. Narrator is increasingly frustrated with these inane feeling tasks. Art and Andee are gladly going to go shopping with Ariadne for these, as it seems she has offered to buy them "anything, for being the best heroes!" Narrator seems jealous.* (note from Narrator) The peasant's aura sensing seems disturbed at the moment, and Ariadne is attempting to correct for this.

*note from Narrator: I am not jealous.

RESULTS: Ariadne was, apparently, just bored of the incense scents she already had and these were not entirely necessary. Narrator is displeased with this, and has once again abandoned her physical form for the time being. FAILED.

RESURRECTION EXPERIMENT # ???

The last ingredient for this spell to work is the Chalice. This is a magical cup which will allow the mix from the cauldron to bring life into the heroes bodies* (note from Narrator) and therefore return them to their original fighting state. We will use the power from Narrator, Ariadne, and the two Creators to attempt to fully power this spell with the various elements they may represent.

*note from Narrator: wait, we've been keeping their bodies in here?

RESULTS: A large date has risen from the smoke of the cauldron…it states "November 1, 2021." It is assumed by the parties involved that this is the date we will know more about the fate and adventures of the peasants. Narrator has seemingly started talking to someone named "Hermes". This may be the first hint at what is going on. UNKNOWN RESULTS.
