CUS Y6: Conclusion
We, somehow, survived. Not unscathed, no, there are cuts and bruises, we feel quite bedraggled. The fight was one of the hardest we have ever done, but once completed, we find the door we entered to open again. As we return to the room we came from before the fight, we find it changed. At the center, a desk, which sits Hawthorne. They have a badge, proudly stating "Librarian Apprentice" and a stack of papers before them. The threads still float around the room, like dust sett

CUS Y6: Parts 25-27
Part 25 You can sense there is someone in this room as you all enter. However, you can't see them. It seems even Hawthorne is victim to this, whispering nervously, "Hello?" The pages in the room ruffle, and a spinning wheel begins spinning. "Hello, Hawthorne." The room seems to whisper. "We have been waiting for you. For all of you. We have written...read...weaved...understood...known...you all for so long..." The phrasing here feels distracted, yet intentional. Everything ab

Part 22 As you wander into the next room, you find at the table several spools of thread. They gleam and sparkle, tempting you to touch one. When you go to do so, some kind of field blocks you immediately. That's what you get for trying to touch suspicious things that don't belong to you. It seems we are coming to the heart of this ordeal. Read a book you haven't been able to fit into a prompt yet. Part 23 Observing the table from a distance, you notice several large scissors

Part 19 The way to find the key, apparently, is to find a book that most fits your strengths. One of these books will have the key inside it, but which one? Apparently, no one is required to read more than one book for this, but you are required to pick one...or pick one at random. Which feels like a trick, because how could this Library possibly know what book you might pick? How would it know that you would select one specific book and that specific book will have the key?

CUS Y6 Parts 16-18
Part 16 The door opens and leads you to a room of disheveled books. The room seems to be crumbling, untended to, as if no one has seen it in ages. It feels as though this is a part of the Library that the Library almost forgot to take care of, like a body part or piece of the soul left neglected. The pages of the books have clear chewed through pieces, some are moldy, tattering and rustling from a breeze you can't quite determined where it's coming from. There is a sound, and

Part 13 No matter, we won't worry too much about where she disappeared to. You all head towards the glowing light, and find a door off to the side, filled with books covered in the classic vintage romance covers, women adorning them beautifully. Ariadne rushes in, because of course she does. I suppose you all could take a moment to peruse these books, if anything as a break from the endless stairs. Side quest: read a sapphic book Part 14 Our little side adventure has ended, a

Part 10 The peasants continue down the stairs, endlessly. It feels like it has been both only a few moments, and also, so many hours. Myself and Ariadne are quite used to the odd passing of time, as it seems Hawthorne and the Librarian are as well, but you peasants...are not. Your feet ache, and this journey is beginning to feel endless, and perhaps a bit fruitless. Much like the task of tackling your endless TBR's can feel, I imagine. Read a book you keep putting off Part 11
